Our Investment in 911inform

Riverside Acceleration Capital (RAC) is proud to announce our recent investment in 911inform, a provider of emergency notification and security management solutions that helps to bridge the gap between first responders and organizations during critical situations.

When emergencies occur in large buildings and campuses, precious seconds can mean the difference between life and death. Traditional emergency response systems often struggle with fragmented access controls, imprecise location information, and limited coordination between on-site personnel and first responders. Meanwhile, organizations face mounting pressure to comply with federal emergency legislation including Kari's Law, RAY BAUM'S Act, and Alyssa's Law, which mandate precise location identification and direct notification capabilities for 911 calls.

Founded in 2018, 911inform recognized the critical need for a comprehensive platform that could transform emergency response from reactive chaos into coordinated, real-time crisis management. They developed a cloud-based solution that can be easily integrated with existing building infrastructure to help give emergency personnel the visibility and control they need to respond quickly and effectively. In their words, it's a 'single pane of glass' approach that provides instant access to the systems that matter most in times of crisis.

Now when a 911 call is made within a geofenced building, the 911inform platform automatically identifies the precise location and sends emergency notifications with detailed incident information. The system connects to existing building systems like IP cameras, door controls, intercoms, and emergency lighting. This allows first responders to remotely manage building security during emergencies. Emergency personnel can get real-time access to interactive floor plans, live camera feeds, and communication tools, while on-site staff coordinate through instant text, email, and mobile notifications.

Today, the platform serves 1.3 million users across 13,000+ installations and 50+ countries. 911inform has been deployed across K-12 schools, universities, hospitals, corporate campuses, and government facilities, with documented success reducing complete lockdown times from 20 minutes to just 50 seconds. Their customers include Bloomberg, Home Depot, MGM Resorts, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and state government deployments in Arizona, Maine, and Texas.

The company's mission-critical work has earned significant industry recognition, including for product innovation and leadership. In 2024, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security designated 911inform as a Qualified Anti-Terrorism Technology under the SAFETY Act, recognizing its role in preventing, detecting, and deterring acts of terrorism.

We believe 911inform has built a differentiated platform that helps address critical pain points in emergency management while maintaining solid unit economics and customer retention. Combined with a proven management team and multiple patents, we believe 911inform is well-positioned to scale, and we look forward to supporting their journey.
