On behalf of Riverside Acceleration Capital (RAC), I’m proud to congratulate Jonathan Drillings on his promotion to Senior Partner.
Jonathan’s promotion reflects his long-standing leadership within the team and his consistent role as a trusted partner to growth-stage enterprise software founders. Since joining RAC as a founding member in 2016, he has helped shape the RAC investment approach by pairing disciplined capital with practical, operator-informed perspective.
Jonathan has spent his entire career working in and around enterprise software companies. Prior to joining Riverside, at the inception of RAC, he was a Principal at Comcast Ventures, the venture-capital affiliate of Comcast NBCUniversal, where he invested in companies using data to drive efficiency and revenue across the enterprise. Earlier in his career, Jonathan held roles in product management, sales, and operations at venture-backed startups Yext and Brightwire, giving him firsthand exposure to the challenges founders face as companies scale.
Jonathan began his professional career at Sonenshine Partners, a New York-based investment bank, before spending several years in the Bay Area investing in growth-stage technology companies with Investor Growth Capital. This combination of operating, investing, and advisory experience has made him a deeply collaborative partner to management teams navigating go-to-market expansion, capital efficiency, and strategic growth decisions.
Jonathan holds a B.S.E. in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University, and it goes without saying that he has remained an avid Duke Basketball fan. Outside of work, you can find him spending time with his family …and probably driving them nuts about Duke basketball!
